What Factors Are Involved When Buying Cars?

A recent survey conducted on August 22nd 2010 over the phone found what pull factors are involved when individuals are deciding buy new cars. CarMax, the company who conducted the survey, found that there were 5 factors that contributed to the decision of buying a car. These were quality, price, safety, environmental or green factors and resale value.
Of these 5 factors, quality lead the highest concern at 37 percent out of the 1000 randomly selected individuals who participated in the survey. It was also found that only 4 percent were concerned about the resale value, which was the least concerning out of the top 5 factors. It is also important to mention that of those individuals who completed the survey, 3 percent had no response whatsoever.
